What iClone does

iClone is Reallusion’s real-time 3D animation software for Windows. Animators use it to pose and animate characters, clean up motion capture, add facial animation and lip-sync, and render in real time or send scenes to Unreal Engine and Nvidia Omniverse.

How the pricing works

Since June 2026 the free iClone Personal edition has replaced the trial. It has the full toolset and no time limit but stops 3D export after 30 exports, and its renders are licensed for personal and social use. Commercial work needs an iClone 365 subscription, reported at about $59/month or $199/year, or a $599 perpetual licence.

Where it fits

It suits indie filmmakers, previs artists and game developers already using Character Creator. Mac users can’t run it, and anyone on a tight budget should also consider Blender, which is free and open source.

Starting price: Free (iClone Personal); iClone 365 subscription from about $59/month or $199/year; $599 perpetual. Model: Free Personal edition, iClone 365 subscription or perpetual version licence.
