Decision checklist
DocOn is an electronic medical records (EMR) platform for Indian doctors, made by Docon Technologies in Pune. It lets doctors write digital prescriptions quickly, keep patient history and vitals, and run a clinic queue, with SMS reminders for appointments.
A separate reception login lets front-desk staff manage the queue and appointments while the doctor consults.
The receptionist adds patients to the queue as they arrive. The doctor sees the queue, records vitals and notes, and writes the prescription in the app, which patients can then access from their own app. The Messenger module sends appointment details and reminders by SMS.
Ask for a demo with your receptionist present, since the queue and reminders are where clinics save the most time. Check how easily you can export patient data before you sign an annual plan.
Starting price: Contact DocOn for INR pricing (listings show about US$67 to US$83 per user a year). Model: Annual subscription per user.
Worked exampleA solo doctor with one receptionist should ask whether the reception account is included in a single annual licence.
