Decision checklist
Pabbly Connect links business apps through automated workflows. A trigger starts the workflow, then one or more actions send or transform data. The important pricing unit is a task: when an action runs in an external application, it counts toward the allowance. A lead sent to an email platform is one task; sending the same lead to an email platform and a spreadsheet is two tasks. Triggers and internal tools such as filters, routers, formatters and iterators are not charged as tasks.
That rule can make Pabbly Connect pricing attractive for workflows with substantial internal logic, but it does not make every automation free to scale. Estimate monthly events and multiply them by the external actions performed for each event. A 2,000-order workflow that updates a CRM, adds a mailing-list contact and records a row can use roughly 6,000 tasks before retries or exception handling. Build the estimate from the actual workflow diagram rather than comparing headline task allowances alone.
The public page currently presents Free, recurring Standard and Unlimited plans, plus several lifetime tiers. Standard is listed at ₹1,138 per month for 10,000 tasks, while Unlimited is ₹4,999 per month. The one-time Standard Lifetime plan is ₹32,799 for 3,000 tasks each month; Ultimate Lifetime is ₹74,999 for 10,000; and Ultimate Plus Lifetime is ₹1,21,999 for 20,000. The lifetime tiers are not interchangeable with the recurring plans, so compare the allowance, feature restrictions and support period shown for the exact offer you intend to buy.
A lifetime purchase reduces recurring subscription exposure, but it concentrates commitment at the start. The official page states that lifetime plans provide one year of customer support and can then be used indefinitely on a self-service basis. A buyer should validate required integrations, actions, webhook behaviour and error recovery during the refund window. Do not justify the upfront price only by dividing it across many years; the workflow still has to fit the product and remain maintainable.
Pabbly Connect supports multi-step workflows, instant webhooks, schedules, delays, filters, path routers, email parsing and custom JavaScript or Python. These features cover more than simple two-app transfers. For an enquiry workflow, a webhook can receive the form submission, a filter can reject incomplete records, a formatter can standardise the phone number, and external actions can create a CRM contact and send a notification.
Integration count is not the same as complete action coverage. Before choosing Pabbly as a Zapier alternative, open each required integration and confirm that the needed trigger and action are available. Test pagination, attachments, date formats, duplicate handling and authentication renewal with representative data. If an essential action is missing, a webhook, API request or code step may work, but that transfers more maintenance responsibility to your team.
An automation is an operational system, not a one-time setup. Assign an owner, name workflows clearly and document connected accounts. Pabbly provides manual re-execution and paid plans list automatic re-executions, but a retry can create a duplicate if the destination accepted the first request before returning an error. Use a stable order, contact or ticket identifier when the destination supports it, and decide which failures need human review.
Shared folders and team access can help several people manage workflows. Access should still be limited to staff who need the connected credentials and business data. Two-factor authentication is available, and Pabbly states SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001:2022 compliance. Those controls do not replace a review of the data sent through each integration, the permissions granted to connected accounts and any contractual requirements that apply to your organisation.
Zapier is the familiar benchmark for app automation and may be easier to standardise across non-technical teams. n8n is a stronger fit when self-hosting, developer control or code-heavy workflows matter. Tallyfy focuses more on human process and repeatable procedure management than app-to-app data movement. Pabbly Connect is most compelling when its exact integrations are available and its task accounting or lifetime option produces a clear advantage for a known workload.
Starting price: ₹1,138/month. Model: Task-based subscription with one-time lifetime options.
Worked exampleA business using the recurring Standard plan for 10,000 tasks per month would pay ₹1,138 × 12 = ₹13,656 for one year before taxes. If each customer event performs three external actions, 3,000 events would use about 9,000 tasks, leaving roughly 1,000 tasks for retries and additional runs.

| Biggest limitation | Each external application action consumes a task, so multi-action workflows can exhaust an allowance much faster than the number of business events suggests. | Credit use can multiply as bundles pass through modules, and some AI or advanced features consume variable credits, making costs harder to predict from event volume alone. | Free self-hosting does not include shared projects, workflow/credential sharing, SSO or Git version control. | Round-robin and routing need Teams, while SAML SSO and SCIM require Organizations or higher. |

The official pricing explanation says triggers are not counted as tasks. An action performed in an external app is counted, while listed internal tools such as filters, routers, formatters and iterators are not.
If every record reaches all three external actions, it uses about 3,000 tasks. Filters may reduce downstream runs, while retries or repeated records can increase actual consumption.
No. The lifetime Standard offer lists 3,000 tasks each month and says it is subject to feature restrictions, while the recurring Standard offer lists 10,000 tasks. Compare the exact entitlements before buying.
The current offer says lifetime software use but one year of customer support. It points customers to extensive tutorials for later self-service use, so support duration should be part of the purchase decision.
Yes. Human in Loop is listed as a feature that can pause a workflow so a person can approve, reject or edit data before the next action. Confirm that the feature is included in the exact plan selected.
Pabbly lists a JavaScript and Python module for custom logic and transformation. A code step can extend a workflow, but the team must maintain and secure that code and still verify any external API involved.
