Freshsales Pricing 2026: Is the Free Plan Still Available?

Freshsales Pricing

Freshsales currently presents three paid tiers on its main pricing page: Growth at $9, Pro at $39, and Enterprise at $59, all per user per month when billed annually. The same page promotes a 21-day trial and says accounts are suspended if customers do not choose a paid plan after the trial.

However, Freshworks’ own pages conflict. Its separate plan-comparison page still lists a Free plan for up to three users. That makes the current status of the free tier unclear rather than definitively discontinued.

The Free Plan Disappeared, and Freshworks’ Own Page Hasn’t Caught Up

Open the main Freshsales pricing page and you will see three plan cards: Growth, Pro, and Enterprise. No free tier is shown. Its FAQ says new customers get access to the fully loaded CRM for 21 days, after which the account is suspended unless they choose a paid plan.

But the official Freshsales plan-comparison page still shows a $0 Free plan for up to three users alongside Growth, Pro, and Enterprise. The main pricing page’s search metadata also continues to mention a free plan.

Freshworks may be changing its packaging or may simply have inconsistent pages. Either way, buyers should not assume that a new free account is available based only on an older comparison guide—or assume it is permanently gone based only on the main pricing page. Confirm eligibility with Freshworks before planning around the free tier.

Freshsales Paid Plans at a Glance

PlanPrice when billed annuallyBest for
Growth$9/user/monthBasic contact and pipeline tracking with basic workflows
Pro$39/user/monthTeams that need sequences, scoring, deal insights, and territories
Enterprise$59/user/monthOrganizations needing forecasting, field-level permissions, sandbox, and audit logs

Monthly billing costs more: Freshworks’ current price list shows $11 for Growth, $47 for Pro, and $71 for Enterprise per user per month. If the $9 headline is what attracted you, remember that it requires annual billing.

Freddy AI Agent Costs Extra After the Introductory Allowance

Growth, Pro, and Enterprise each list Freddy AI Agent as a $49-per-100-sessions add-on. Freshworks also says paid accounts receive 500 sessions once to try the chatbot. Those introductory sessions are not a recurring monthly inclusion; once exhausted, additional sessions require the add-on.

This usage-based charge deserves separate attention from the seat price. Also note that Freshworks describes these as customer-facing bot sessions, not every AI-assisted feature used by a sales rep. If you are comparing this with broader AI products, see our guide to AI agents for customer support for the practical differences between agent types.

What Growth Doesn’t Include Is the Real Story

Growth covers Kanban views, contact lifecycle stages, chat, email and phone access, email templates, custom fields, and basic workflows. It does not include contact scoring, deal insights, sales sequences, or territory management. A team running structured outbound sales may therefore reach its limits quickly, with Pro as the next step.

The Growth-to-Pro Increase Is 333 Percent

Moving from Growth to Pro raises the annual-billing rate from $9 to $39 per user per month. That is a 333 percent increase, not a modest upgrade.

For a 10-user team, Growth costs $1,080 a year, while Pro costs $4,680. The $3,600 difference is worth modelling before rollout, particularly if Growth looks sufficient during procurement but key workflows later require Pro.

Calling Usage and Phone Numbers Cost Extra

Freshsales lists phone access within its plans, but Freshworks separately sells phone credits for calling usage and phone-number charges. Exact costs vary by destination and number type, so teams with meaningful call volume should use Freshworks’ current rate information or request a quote instead of budgeting from a single US calling estimate.

What Freshsales Costs a 10-Person Team

A 10-user Pro subscription costs $4,680 a year before add-ons. Adding branded documents for all 10 users at $19 per user per month would add $2,280 annually, bringing the known subscription total to $6,960 before Freddy AI sessions, phone credits, taxes, or other usage charges.

That is a more defensible planning figure than an unsupported $7,500–$9,000 estimate because each component can be traced to Freshworks’ published pricing. If proposals are central to your workflow but you do not need the full add-on, compare the separate tools in our guide to the best AI for proposal writing.

Zoho CRM’s pricing page, its free edition supports three users with no time limit. HubSpot’s Sales Hub pricing page currently lists free tools for up to two users. Freshsales is cheaper than Zoho at the entry paid tier, but its conflicting free-plan information makes the no-cost comparison less straightforward.
