CompareCrest (comparecrest.com) publishes software comparisons, guides and reviews. You can read the whole site without creating an account, and we don’t offer registration or sign-up. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit, why, how long we keep it and how to contact us about it.
Who We Are
CompareCrest is run by Ajay, UP, India. For any question or request about your personal data, email comparecrest@gmail.com/ajay@comparecrest.com. We aim to reply within 30 days and will resolve any grievance within 90 days.

We don’t sell personal data, run user accounts or collect payment details. Clarity masks sensitive input, such as what you type into fields, by default.
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us how our pages appear in Google search results. It reports totals from Google’s side and doesn’t place cookies or track you on our site.
Cookies
Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, the site works the same and no analytics cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
Who Processes Data for Us
- Hostinger: hosts the website and keeps server logs
- Google (Google Analytics): website analytics, only with your consent
- Microsoft (Clarity): usage analytics and session recordings, only with your consent
These providers may store data outside India. Each uses its own security safeguards and privacy terms.
Links to Other Websites
Our articles link to software vendors and other websites. Once you leave CompareCrest, that website’s privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies. Some links are affiliate links. If you click one, the vendor or affiliate network may set a cookie on its own site to record the referral. We don’t receive personal data about you from these programs.
Your Rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you’re in the EU or UK, the GDPR, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you
- correct or update it
- delete it
- withdraw consent you’ve given
- name a person to exercise your rights if you can’t
Email comparecrest@gmail.com with your request. Because we don’t run accounts, the data we hold about any one visitor is usually limited to analytics data that we can’t link to you by name. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local data protection authority if you’re in the EU or UK.
How We Protect Data
The whole site uses HTTPS, admin access is limited, and analytics tools only receive data after consent. If a personal data breach affects you, we’ll tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay, as the law requires.
Children
CompareCrest is written for business and professional readers, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We’ll update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top.
